FS9 cannot load the A321 model ERROR

Hello everyone,

I am already using the very nice A319 and A320 from PA without any problem.

I am trying to use the A321 now but it doesn't work.

I have this issue :

Basically it says : FS2004 could not load an aircraft or a software. You can still use Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.

Then FS9 crash. It is doing that only with this model (everything is fine with the A319 & A320).

I realized also that when I unzip the zip file downloaded from AVSIM it is giving me a corrupted message.
I downloaded the package several time with Internet Explorer as well as Mozilla Firefox but still the same corrupted message (again, only this ZIP is doing this to me). I also tried to reinstall the A321 base package several time.

Can you confirm that the FS9 error is coming most probably from the corrupted file??
If yes, is anyone able to provide me a link toward a clean zip base package??

Hi,

I tried the download at the moment and don't have any problem with the .zip file (Firefox 8.0).

Have you installed a livery? And if yes which one?
I use the A321 with Lufthansa livery and FS9 without problems.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes, I have installed a livery indeed. The AIR INTER from Thomas Lo Gerfo.
But I don't think it is coming from the livery as the error really point toward the MDL.

Is there a way for you to send me your "clean" zip file? In order to give it a try with a non-corrupted base-package.

Ok everyone, problem solved.

Thanks to MBerger who helping me out.

For information, it was indeed a corrupted file. The MDL dowloaded was 1.53 Mo instead of 3.43 Mo.
