PA A380 VC for FSX
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
i dont think, i tried once wiclo A380 and it was... awfull
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
It's good to know that there are more people working on this aircraft.Dylematic wrote:well merged with wilco but thats not important, removed the black stuff but.. cant get off that nasty reflect textures when turned on lights..
how do you solved it? im playing with alpha mask and textures and nothing
The resolution of reflective textures is to fill a color on the reflective areas, in the texture of the cockpit. Believe me, it wasn't easy to make the match.
The merge with the gauges of Wilco have a problem. It is necessary to have the product.
There are two things in this amazing aircraft. First of all, it's the best A380 ever made. The second,it's freeware and that is not the case of the Wilco products.
I already have three more gauges almost ready. I want to finish during this week. After that, all improvements are welcome.

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
There are some differences between the wilco a340 and wilco a380 gauges - the a380 gauges are basically the same, but they have a vertical path display. It would be really great, if you could ad the wilco a340 oder wilco a380 gauges to the VC. It would be really nice if you (Dylematic) could release the version with the wilco gauges or at least a step-by-step guide how to do this merge...
I think if it works with the A340 gauges, it also should work with die A380 gauges? - Because wilco has a very similar file structure in all their airbus addons...

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
I surely will release it, when facked will finish convert to FSX i will add the 340 gauges from wilco instead of a380, 340 are less buggy.. but i can try

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
Very nice
@Dylematic:
When you merge that with the wilco gauges, will the AP Buttons also be usable?

Today I finished another gauge. The digital trim.
When is set to 0:
When it is more or less set to take off.
Meanwhile, I'm working in one more gauge.

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
It's possible to make GPWS system on this a380?
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
I'm not thinking of adding GPWS to the aircraft.Airbus Fan wrote:It's possible to make GPWS system on this a380?
But it is possible to add a GPWS to any aircraft. Search on the internet for 'FSX GPWS'.
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
Today I finished the last gauge.
Not much information, but it fills this space in the ND that still had nothing.
What moves is the ground reference (the brown part) and the altimeter.
This week-end I will start the third phase of the project.

Wouah !!
Is the VSD your creation or an existing gauge that we can find?

The VSD is my creation, so you cannot find it until I release this project.AF1809 wrote:Wouah !!

You don't have to wait much longer. It's almost finished.

It depends on the type of project.matt787 wrote:Hello everyone I'm new here and would like to know if i could ask for a release date on these types of projects??
Sometimes the testing time is longer than the time it takes to do it.
One more week and I should finish what I intend to do with this project.
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
I tested the HUD and doesn't work in FSX. This is part of the model, so there's nothing that I can do.Airbus Fan wrote:But only for first officer.AF1809 wrote:Oh, I have a flash... :

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
With the permission of the PA Team, I did something that the community was already searching for some time.
A 2D panel for the A380.
What do you think?
Sorry, the picture is not clear, but it will be on your pc when you are flying.

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
Looks a bit stretched, and if you make one watermark diagonally covering from the top to the bottom of the picture, the panel can be seen clearer.

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
The problem with using the widescreen format have this problem. The 2D panels become streched.GaryG wrote:Looks a bit stretched, and if you make one watermark diagonally covering from the top to the bottom of the picture, the panel can be seen clearer.

The watermark is on purpose. It's just to get an idea of the panel, not to use it.
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
And why not a 2D Radio Panel?

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
You'll finish these panel's, and the a380 will be released?
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
And I finish my project with the popup of the main gauges.
Now I will do some performance tests, the last modifications and compile all contents of the package.

I prefer the image on in this state than anyone download and use it.esg wrote:The watermark is very distracting.
For me, it's very important to keep the credits of the authors.
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
You must have a little patience.Airbus Fan wrote: You'll finish these panel's, and the a380 will be released?
In just over three weeks, I finished all my changes to this aircraft. Never thought I'd be able to get as far as I did and in a short time.
I'll make some performance tests and check if everything is OK.

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
Thanks for this project, it looks really great, and the time you did it in is just amazing!
When you're finished with it, please pass the files to "Dylematic" for implementing the Wilco Gauges. Maybe you can talk to each other in case he needs you to do something at the VC what he isn't able to do because you have the raw files or something like that.
Looks very promising

Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
ILS bars on PFD will be visible?
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
I don't have any raw files or something like that. The only think that I change is some textures and some align of the buttons of the download package.Bombardier Q400 wrote:Thanks for this project, it looks really great, and the time you did it in is just amazing!

About the Wilco gauges, is not dificult to change the pfd, nd, ecam... Just need to change the name of the gauge in panel.cfg
The very dificult part is to make all the button to work, especially the AP.
But if needed, I help Dylematic when I finished the project.
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
My project is not to change the gauges of the Project Airbus, but make the aircraft compatible with FSX.Airbus Fan wrote:ILS bars on PFD will be visible?
But it's not very difficult to put other gauges on the plane. Just change the gauge name in panel.cfg
Re: PA A380 VC for FSX
I dont think that it would be possible to link a AP button in VC to AP Button in wilco panel, but its worth try

It will be released along with the VC cockpit.
