Guys...I know you've discussed this b4..just have mercy.....

But I have gone round and round to understand and fix it with no clue whatsoever, please, have mercy on this brain of mine....!

The red/green nav lights on my PA A321 and all my AIRBUS Thomas Ruth models are not coming on...!
I have tried the lights configuration but still no luck. But the original models come with no nav lights setting on the aircraft.cfg file anyway.
I have tried by installing the originals and reinstalling the "fx_2.bmp" file which can cause this problem if damaged....still....
The strange stuff is that all the other Project Airbus models and the other Thomas Ruth models have them working just fine..!

I really do not know where the problem is....! Please? Anyone..?

Thanks

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling your problematic A/C in full (effects folder in particular)? The problem is most likely that the required effects files for hardcoded lights are missing.

Yes, RedBaron, I have done that not only with the original files which I tend to keep for reinstallation but as well as new downloaded ones from the internet! The first thing I did was to make sure the effects folder would be complete upon reinstallation but still not changing anything....

Hmm...that is very odd. Can you post back with complete details of exactly which packages you are having trouble with (DL links would help-this way I can check it out myself). Also, what simulator are you using? FSX or FS9? If FSX, are you running DX10 mode (a fix is needed for lights to display)? Any addons that modify the effects like REX?
