Your rapaints are good for starters... but you should try some "lighting" effects. The belly of the aircraft is darker and the top lighter.
Or add some dirt effects etc.
Not using these makes the whole repaint look too "sterile" if you know what I mean.

Might be an idea to start using the layered kit before venturing into lighting and dirt effects

Um.. I am using your paint kit.. and everything is in layers.. or do you mean something else?

I don't have the PA paintkit, but in most official paint kits there are several layers included.
There's one layer for the repaint work and layers where details like lines, windows, shading, etc are included.
Which program are you using for repainting?

The PA paintkit has layers..
I am using photoshop... I don't know photoshop that good yet... but I am tring to learn.
