Painting the A380

Post by gacaptaink » 12 Jul 2010, 11:42

Greetings;

I had originally asked about difficulties trying to use FS Repaint and Photoshop.
Now, I have an additional question.....

When trying to use the above programs, does anyone know if the files must be in
"Extended.bmp", DXT5, or something else in order to use them for repainting in
FS Repaint and/or Photoshop 7?

Any clarification would be a great help!

Thanks in advance,

I work always with the PSD-format with layers. You can always 'save as' in JPG, or other formats saving when te paint is ready. I use Gimp for my paintwork (free-ware)(http://www.gimp.org/).
You can always use subsequently the program DXTBmp to convert the files to dx-files or others.
