A380 VC and FlightSim Commander

Hi guys,

I´m trying to get used to the different VC versions for quite some time now. 1st of all they look stunning.
And problems I´m experiencing are more or less related to the autopilot. Unfortunately I have great difficulties with the knobs and screens with the vasFMC version (the display updates are pretty slow or don´t change at all even though I have a decent frame rate). But I´d be fine with it, if I could get FSC working together with the "normal" VC version. Is there a trick behind it (e.g. change in the cfg) or is it simply not possible, which would be really sad? Cause at the moment when I try to connect the A380´s autopilot with FSC nothing happens. FSC is usually connecting via the HDG function of the autopilot.

Hi,

I thought this is quite a common program. FSC - Flight Sim Commander (http://secure.simmarket.com/flightsim-commander-9.phtml).
I mostly use it combined with freeware planes without FMC. It connects with the HDG function of the plane. And as this function seems to be modified (doesn´t exist anymore) the plane can´t follow the given headings. Is there a way to integrate the heading mode into the VC versions again?

Reckon I can´t expect help if nobody knows the program.

You're probably gonna have to go through all the xml files in the _ap folder and replace the lvars with sim vars

Thank you for your help. But as I never edited an xml file I might misunderstand you.

1st I opened one XML in the _ap folder after another with the editor and searched for "lvars". But nothing got highlighted. So I assume there´s something else behind lvars and sim vars.
I´m sorry to nag. But this kind of programming gauges and details seems to be quite interesting. Thank you again.
