Sound base for A380

Post by DerKranich » 08 Mar 2010, 05:52

No this isn't a sound file for the A380, but for anyone who is intent on making a good sound file for it, then the following should serve as a good jumping off point. Now I see what you guys were saying, it does sound a bit like a 777.

Im sure once PA releases their a380 it will be a good motive for somebody to try as it would be the first 100% realistic a380 we have...

Synchro-soft produced a nice soundpack for the 380. It's payware, but it's a nice GP7200 file.

For the PA380, I know I mentioned Synchro soft's GP7200, But I just watched a preview of Turbine Sound Studio's upcoming GE90 project (sounds VERY similar to the GP7200 or Trent 900), and it is absolutely breathtaking. Take a peek at it and hear it for yourself. Not sure if TSS will release it as payware or freeware. Will also be available for FSX

Get the sounds from TSS website
Use the 777 Rolls Royce Trent 800 sounds for the Trent 900 on A380 someone suggested me and Im really satisfied and as chris said use the GE for GP7200

:( It's sad that it's never enough, I suggest get the default 747 sound... and I'm pretty sure, that PA will alias that for you in fs2004, well, we'll see in fsx

Or.. if the 777 Trent800 sounds are good for the A380 we could just change the flaps sound...
The A380 flap sound exists somewhere in flightsim if I am not mistaken..

I'm a staunch supporter of TSS (turbine sound studios), and they've come up with, as mentioned above, a brand new 777 GE90 soundset. I purchased this last night and tested it...it is heavenly. I would highly suggest you get it and use it for the PA380 for the GP model. TSS is also making a brand new 777 RR and PW soundset. The RR obviously could be used on the RR PA380 model.

you can visit www.turbinesoundstudios.com for more info.

Cheers lads and lasses,
