FSX Issue editing Project Airbus Emirates A380 cfg file

I cannot edit the cfg file of the project airbus emirates a380, as I apparently don't have special permission. This is also the case with all the other project airbus a380s I own. I'm trying to replace the default 747 panel with the A380 panel i downloaded, but I'm unable to do so due to this problem. Any suggestions?

Im running Windows 7 x 32 bit

open aircraft.cfg using notepad (right-click file then open with; select notepad)
