Re: The A330 and A340
It weren't that bad if there was a good visual model for FSX out there. But T.R.'s freeware model has some issues like engine shapes. The RR model looks ok, but look at the nozzles of the GE and PW variants, the engines look far away from the real ones. On the other hand side the CLS payware model h...

Need advice for new PC System for FSX
Hi there, I'm about to go for a new system, and I think of chosing the AMD FX-6350 (3,9 GhZ) processor, however I heard that Intel ist outperforming AMD processors concerning MS Flightsim. Should I racer take the slower Intel i7 4960X ? I do not like overclocking, so I'm looking for the fastest &quo...

Why don't you start by telling us why CLS/Overland aren't better than POSKY? By today's standards, certainly none of the 3 options are "still state of the art!" Hi, to me, even little things make the difference, so, if I simply compare the design of the maingear, I see that only posky pai...

Re: A380 VASFMC overspeed!
Hi, I was cruising at FL300 and I think there is not much airspeed difference to FL320. To my knowledge I also tried it on FL330. Due to the heavy weight I don't think even with step climb it is usual, to get this bird to a higher crz altitude than FL330. The vasfmc seems to represent the A320 limit...

A380 VASFMC overspeed!
Hi, I don't know whether I may ask this, but since there is no VASFMC support forum...: When using the VASFMC variant of the A380VC, I get an overspeed warning when exceeding Mach 0.81 (the A320 limit!). The autopilot will not exceed this speed, though the A380 has a cruising speed of about Mach 0.8...

Yes, I meant the gauges. I will use the 2D panel mainly. The vasfmc gauges implementation is also nice, but the pss ones are better, because the whole panel has a certain system depth. Who of you guys is using a 64bit OS with FS9? I'm thinking about switching to WinXP 64 bit to get some more RAM available, but I'm not sure how much memory I can adress to FS9. I'also don't know if there occur problems with certain payware addons.

To be honest, I'm waiting for a payware A380 -2D (panel) that I can merge with PA's A380 in Fs9, but unfortunately there is no A380 panel insight. There is no news from NLS for ages. Hello,
this is outstanding news! I hope the A340-500/600 is also on this list.
The wheels on the main gear bogies are more spread out in the width than for other aircrafts-types, will you consider this in the modelling?
Cheers

Hello,
you could try to use Wilcos panel. It is far from being perfect, but the only specific A380 2D panel with a rudimantary system depth. It would be a compromise for the time being. (Of course we are all waiting for the NLS Panel, but nobody knows when it will be released )
