Yes it was run within FSX. I didn't notice a drop in frames and actually, it was much smoother in operation than XML and C++.

Yeah, it's like an experiment. Mind you that this is not XML, nor normal C++. That is GDI+, which is a rendering system within windows itself.

If you're having a problem with the autothrottle being stuck at 40% in the FSUIPC version 3.999:

change  "AxesWrongRange=No" to "Yes" in the FSUIPC INI file
