Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi It's absolutely fantastic. I would suggest to increase a little bit the font as normally I don't use PFD enlargment feature and I'm afraid it could be difficult to see it in VC. But I don't know, maybe is okay, I cannot judge the font readability from a video of course!

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, I'm talking about "version Beta 0.80 January,18 2015" as pasted from .txt file in your panel folder.
Then I made tests in other aircrafts panels reporting what I did in the other posts

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, about the knobs. Yes it's wierd. It happens also in default A321, and only in VC (in 2D panel it works). I don't know! Anyway, only the two mode/zoom knobs are affected, the rest of A/C buttons work nice.
About oscillations, yes of course you was rigth. I was too much high and very weighty.

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Thank you Wulf. I noticed other stuf that I would point out to Francois' attention about his fantastic job: - A/P panel knobs in VC are able to turn only clockwise by mouse wheel. Is it possible make them also turnig on the other way (counterclockwise)? - When I fly without A/P engaged (I know I sho...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Francois, I found that the radio panel button in VC is hard to change the first digits frequency. If you put the pointer on the button, it only changes the decimals and not the values before the decimal. I tried to move the pointer around, but only one time I was able to change it properly. So maybe...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, I'd like change a little bit the eyepoint position in A320. To me it's too much advanced on the windshield and I cannot monitor displays and see outside the runway approaching. Maybe I could also change zoom factor. In aircraft.cfg file the eyepoint is at 49.22074, -1.73061, 4.355627 Which of t...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Thank you! I use FSrealWX, and you gave me an idea.. in FSrealWX I can read the local METAR bulletin for the arrival airport. In this way, I could know the local wind at the arrival airport hoping that it does not change during my travel. FSrealWX should "overwrite" the FSX bug about ATIS ...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Great. You mentioned a topic that I was always in troubble. Which STAR should I choose during FMC planning, if I cannot know the local weather when I arrive? Could I change the STAR at the last moment upon I know the assigned runway from ATC?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi! Just a question, how is your state of art on FMC adaptation in A330? Thanks!
I'd like suggest, in order to differentiate the two A320/A330 cockpits, you could change textures colours

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi thanks for your reply. I guess FSX simulates engine intake's icing by reducing power. So when icing occours on engines intakes (it takes more then 30 minutes when flying in icing conditions; according to web), we can see a reduction of the thrust power. FSX also simulates wing icing, and probably...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, I flew yesterday to test ice protection systems in A320. I found that swithing off wing/Eng1-2 ice protection induces (after a while, when icing come up) a reduction of throttle position on the console.. and also a reduction of the thrust percentage in ECAM. This test was made with A/THR OFF, sp...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, sometimes the superior part of PFD doesn't display modes (srs, op clb, speed...) in 2D panel. But when I watch to 3D panel or I enlarge the PFD from 2D panel, everything is ok. If I stretch the border of the 2D panel I can see them back. Do I have a resolution problem?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi, I realized when I apply thrust on snowy/rainy runway to take off, I should see the engines jets behind them on the ground surface: I can see them but only underneath the aircraft and not close behind to the engines. For sure a screenshot would be more clear on what I mean; I have it but I don't ...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Thanks Francois. I'll use FMC as it seems more accurate, and also on flightradar24 many airliners fly at high altitude (around 330-350).

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Thank you very much! I'm looking forward for the PA330 implementation! I've just a question. I realized FSX route planner normally provides cruise altitude much lower than FMC calculation. How could I do? Input Fsx planner cruise altitude always to FL340, run FMC and see the proper FL and then ask A...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus
Hi Francois, 0.77N version works nicely to me. I only had this issue. I started to descend with STAR path already put into FMC. Lately I decided to delete that STAR and input an other STAR path in FMC. As I did, FMC ordered to the aircraft to came back through the route. In other words the aircraft ...

Re: Support Project Airbus A318/319/320/321 FD Special Version
Hi Francois, thank you for your clarify, but I have already done what the manual tells. Of course I also added the new lines in DDL.xml. I can put values in FMC by keyboard, it seems working by the way. The only weird stuff is that FSX missed ask me about one of the two DLLs. Anywat I tested FMC tod...

Re: Support Project Airbus A318/319/320/321 FD Special Version
Hi Francois Thank you very much for all these improvements of your panel! It seems to me that FMC works fine, but strangely I got only one DLL alert acceptance by FSX (don't remember which one! sorry). Neither these two DLLs appears in [Trusted] section in FSX.cfg file. So I don't know if FMC is ful...
