Hi. When FMC switches from Cruise to Descent.. is autothrottle supposed to reduce throttles? Or do I have to do it manually? In my sim throttles any more go to idle when descent stars. I have v1.60 What worked for me (and is stated in the manual, I think) is pushing the ALT hold button on the MCDU....

I removed the quotes from the dll.xml file and deleted the XMLTools.dll from the Trusted section of the fsx.cfg file. This did not work either. Would it be because I am running FSX on Windows 10 perhaps? Although FSX runs great on Win 10.....stumped at this point.... Did you try to run FSX as Admin...

François I found the trick about my 0ft elevation! I was always loading a preexistent flight plan (as I normal do and never gave me problems). But if I create a new flight plan and overwrite the old one I have the correct arrival elevation. So i just need to overwrite all my saved flight plans..

I think it should enought to see from which information source FMC takes elevation data. Are map value and upper corner value taken from different source?

I'm using A321 CFM. However it's strange as both A320 and A321 take arrival elevation from the same Fsx source. So what works for A320 it should work for A321 as well. And if I load A321, then I load A320 on the runway, and after I load back A321 (keeping the same plan).. it works.

François, what part of the xml files codes for "arrival elevation"? I would like try to replace that file with the one from A320.. in order to see if i can have arrival elevation working

Hi to me A320 1.59 seems ok. I made LIRF-LIMC without any problems to report. The only issue that I still have is about 0 ft elevation in A321 1.59! I don't know what's going on in this aircraft

Hi i tested A320 1.58.1 and arrival elevation is ok. Also the reset gauge seems working fine. In 2D panel there is an alert window that doesn't disappear.
I don't know what is wrong with my A321 1.58!

The problem is at the beginning. I don't matter reload a second plan... I boot my pc, I run Fsx for the first time. At the welcome screen i load the plan first and then i choose the aircraft. If i choose v1.58 (or 1.57) i get 0 ft. If i choose 1.55 everything is ok. Or... if i am already on the runw...

I did this test now.
I created a plan and then launched A321 1.58: elevetion was 0. After on the same runway i changed to A320 v1.55 and the arrival elevation was magically ok (1100ft). So how do you interpret this?

Please note, A320 is v1.55 and NOT 1.57

Hi Wulf. The A320 version is 1.55.1
Meanwhile the A321 is 1.58. (I upgraded this from 1.57)

I looked into gauge folder's cab files.

An other possibility is disconnect the three flight computers (three switches on overhead panel "FLT CTL"). After that you are free to disable A/T.

Hi I have several questions for you. Do you have bloom effect on in Fsx display options? In case did you try to disable it? Do you play with "Dx10 preview" on?

Out of the box, they are 4096 pixel bitmaps in DXT1 format, weighing in at 10 MB each (80 MB in total for the entire VC).
