A32X sharklet preview

Hi guys!..

Here is a sneakpeak of an update for the A32X series..
And yes.. The whole series will have sharklets. From A318 to A321

More previews will come in this topic!

First out is two A321's.. Still WIP

Dont ask for release date!

OMG! That's absolutely amazing! Definitely looking forward to adding these to my fleet. I have a question, however (and I apologize if it appears I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth): Will there also be a texture update to include an option for a wifi dome on top of the A32x series? I've noticed that the wifi domes (at least on jetBlue's planes) are larger/longer than the usual SATcom domes. If there's no update, it's no big deal. Thanks for all your hard work guys!

Just a couple of comparison shots:
Standard SATcom dome (already modeled):

Also, all A32x equipped with sharklets have a different animation: their ailerons deflect upward when spoilers are deployed upon touchdown, as this video from youtube will demonstrate (just the first 30 seconds):

Ah this must be taking minds off the 330/340 of yours. Looks great! I especially like the Philippines paint.

I do have a few questions though with this.

1) Will this project take priority over the A330/A340? (Not necessarily my most important, but I knew someone was going to ask if I didn't.)

2) I know in the current paintkit the winglets are in the same bmp as the wing textures. Will the sharklets now be a separate bmp file or will there be a new wing texture bmp for this?

I guess I should be rolling up my sleeves to get ready for this release.

Question. I noticed that the IAE A320 model for FSX does NOT have wing flex while all the other planes (A318/A319/A320(CFM model)/A321) have wing flex. Will the Sharklet IAE model A320 have wing flex for FSX?

I love the Thomas Cook livery, can't wait for a Condor repaint.

Guys.. Phew.. haha

This project do not have any impact on the A330/A340..

The aileron will deflect upwards with spoilers on ground yes..

The jagged CFM's is also looked into..

About the antenna options, i have to leave that to Nick

More shots to come a bit later.. Will then show the sharklets on allready released paints (just to show all the models with sharklets)

So repaint it self is released earlier!

Now quick question, will we get wingflex for the FSX IAE model? Since A320 V2.1 was never released for FSX.

Well they never officially released fsx models of this plane. It was done via 3rd party with permission from project airbus.

Why do you want a native FSX model? The current V2.1 works perfectly in my FSX and I get 29.9 - 30 FPS (locked at 30FPS). Even better, the current one also got wing views whereas the native FSX models A321/A380 don't have them. Already dreaming to see the sharklets on my future flights.

And thank you so much for still making for us fs9 simmers, a a330 and a320 with virtual cockpit has been missing in my simming SOOO much.
Your previous models are just fantastic, and to get sharklets and the virtual cockpit coming up, I'm so excited.

Because you can't link a VC from another product to a non native model.

I can't wait to see these on my American paint!!! Wing view looks fantastic! Curious to know if the amount of wing flex has been increased on the 321 as well.

Aw bummer. Any chance you could consider increasing the flex on the 321?? It has quite a bit more flex than the 320 from my experience.
