Please do not forget to make FSX native models and add the hard-codded strobes so that FSX users can enjoy the new models as much as possible.

Hey guys I'm new to this forum,
Just wanted to ask whether or not the other models of the A32X series apart from the A320 V2.0 will be updated with the Shaking wings during turbulence???

Re: A32X sharklet preview
Wait a minute. I'm just saying that I (and many others) would like the option to turn the jetheat in every model to be turned on and off, either by a texture replacement or by pressing a button. I am not forcing Project Airbus and telling them "You must do it"; it is just a suggestion. If PA can add the option to turn it on and off (at least for the A320 v3; it's the only model which I haven't been able to deactivate such feature) it'd be great. If it is not possible, there's no problem.
I will still fly the PA A32X, they are great.
I just think it would be a nice feature.
If PA released the PA A32X v3, there were FS9 and FSX models. Why can't they produce FS9 and FSX models for the A32X with sharklets? (Please, please, please. We, FSX users like the PA A32X with VC).
About the Aerosoft A320, there are two things that I don't like about it:
1. No wingflex. Nothing. Naught. Zero.
2. It eats my FPS too much and my computer is not the state-of-art gaming computer.
Thanks.

Ok, then forget about the hard-coded double strobes.AirbusCaptain wrote:What are you waiting for? You have FSX native models. If you have read the previous pages of this threat you would have seen that PA already announced that the sharklet models will be for FS9 AND FSX.Why can't they produce FS9 and FSX models for the A32X with sharklets?
About the hard coded strobe lights: haven't the FSX models already hard coded strobe lights?? I don't have strobe lights in my [lights] section of the aircraft.cfg and the strobes work just fine. (and the model is fsx native).
Edit: Just saw that the all models except the A320-231 (IAE) got the strobes. In the IAE version I have strobe light entries in the aircraft.cfg section.

Ok, but I still think that the optional jetheat for every model is a good idea.swiss1578 wrote:If you have read the previous pages of this threat you would have seen that PA already announced that the sharklet models will be for FS9 AND FSX.Why can't they produce FS9 and FSX models for the A32X with sharklets?

Is it not possible to turn the heat effect on and off, using the water rudder command? Or am I imagining things?

Maybe that's for the A320, I think the 319 might be the only one with it assigned to the water rudder.
Re: A32X sharklet preview
The v2.1 A320 hasn't got the heat effect. The FSX models are based off the v2 model and do have it (with no way to turn it off). The A319's you can toggle on/off. The A321 never had it.

I'm sorry, I'm new here, if I forgive a wrong,
Is it possible to remove the effect of heat from the A319? does not sound realistic to me, has been removed from the A320 and A321 s, was much more beautiful.
We expect the new PA A32X Sharklet models. (from İstanbul/Turkey)

I'm sorry to mention something about the non-sharklets PA A320 model in a topic that is about the PA A32X sharklet models.esg wrote:None of the updated models will have the heat effect.
Anyway, I already found a solution to my jetheat issue: I replaced the v3 FSX PA A320 model with the v2.1 PA FSX A320 model. That solved the issue.

Now, we can forget this thing and resume with the wonderful A32X sharklets models.
I'll be eagerly waiting for the release of these models. I can no longer wait to fly them in FSX.

I know you PA staff guys are tired of receiving repaints request, but the models' screenshots look so nice that I couldn't resist the temptation to ask for a A320 sharklet repaint in Avianca Colombia colours. I'm not demanding it to be done, but if you ever have time (and want to do the Avianca repaint), I, and perhaps some other simmers, would be very pleased. Of course, you should first focus in finishing the models.
Thanks.
P.S.: Can you please post more screenshots of the A32X sharklets models?

PA A32X FSX models. I think they are the v2 FSX models.
I know there are no v3 models. I meant the François Doré version.

Re: A32X sharklet preview
Here's JetBlue A320 N821JB Blue Yorker with "barcode" tail design.
Jetblue is the second largest A320 operator worldwide with approx 130 frames.
[quote]Jet Blue made “history” by being the first operator to perform a production retrofit, on its aircraft N821JB (MSN 5417 which first flew on the 1st of December, 2012). This aircraft was produced before MSN 5428, which is now registered as 9M-AQQ, flying for Air Asia, and made “history” as the first Sharklet Equipped A320 to be delivered.
The recently delivered A320s to JetBlue, which came without the Sharklets, take less than 2 days per aircraft to fit the Sharklets. However, the older A320s in its fleet, on which JetBlue wishes to fit Sharklets, will need structural modification to strengthen the wings, and will take an estimated 14-21 days at a MRO facility. Newer deliveries will have the Sharklets fitted at the factory.
Edit: Deleted screenshots (newer ones below)

Amazing previews !!!
Re: A32X sharklet preview
Excellent shots there, DC10! I'm excited for both yours and Steve's jetBlue paints. That said, however, there's only one suggestion I'd like to make: All of B6's sharklet-equipped A320s (and all of their 321s) have been retrofitted with the updated Flyfi (wifi) dome, which has been added as an antenna texture for the updates. Would it be possible to include that instead of the current SATcom dome? Thanks again!
