i did notice that when im cruising and im just about to reach cruise speed the engines roll back all the way back for some reason for about 1-2 secs then they go back up. Its happened on two different flights so far. Im using FSX, but this has never happened on any of my other aircraft or any of the PA aircraft.

about to complete my second long haul with it. Only with this one im flying the remaining 2000nm with only three engines as my #1 engine had a fire :(

first was Montreal-Manchester. Now am on Manchester-Tokyo

loving the model so far. Ive already put a trent sound pack in it which makes it great!

Thanks Pairbus people for doing such a plane for us simmers around the globe! I really appreciate it. I'm so happy Spain just won Portugal and that you released the A380 just the day I arrive from a 12 hour long trip!!!! :D :D :D

Cant't wait to fly them!

I flew the AF A380 from EHAM to LFPG and reached FL280 on 30% fuel and full of pax. It flew just as I expected, or actually much better. Made a sweet cross-wind landing too.
Fantastic job done by the team. I can see myself clocking many hours on this A380. Certainly the best A380 in terms of detail and quality of the external model and FDE. I will think more than twice before getting any payware again.
So here's a big "THANK YOU PA" for this wonderful addition to my hangar.

This is by far the best a380 ever modelled for flight sim, with the addition of a VC I will have no need for Overland what so ever.
The flight dynamics are perfect, repaints are great.
You guys have done a brilliant job of this plane.
Thanks so much Project Airbus :D

Depends on weight

Flap setting for takeoff can be 1+F, 2, 3 depending on airline procedures and the weight.

Pairbus developpers, I don't know how to thank you enough for such a hard work ;) it works great with me

for people having problems with their joystick fist of all install the software specific to your joystick from the saitek website (only if it's a Saitek, it helps getting more fps and reduce bugs).

and if you're using FSUIPC it could be the problem, it happened to me, I got the complete registered version, the plane (wilco 777) was always turning right, taxiing or flying, I selected joystick calibration and put "default on all settings" it then worked normally.. ;), every other airplanes were working great...

I have 2 different saitek joystick (saitek cyborg evo and X) and both worked perfectly with pairbus 380

Big thank you pairbus, If I had to choose the best part it'd be the engines fan it so realistic and original in fsx, again, brilliant work ;)

A big Thank You to the Project Airbus team. I've been watching this project from the sidelines from the date it was first announced years ago, and am very grateful to all of you who've put so much time, effort and love into this model. Your contributions are much appreciated as is your attention to detail and perseverance.

I cannot wait to download and fly it.

Best Regards,

Gene

Thanks to all the team members for this wonderfull A380.
She is beautiful.

Just want to donate some wings views to the cause.

(2) Copy the default 747 panel contents over to the A380 panel folder. (MAKE SURE COPY ONLY)
(3)Copy and paste the following lines into the panel.cfg folder. (place them under the - window06=Mini Panel - line)

VIEW_REAR_LEFT_ZOOM=1.15
VIEW_REAR_LEFT_EYE=0.0, 0.6, -8.5

Try this, it works fine for me :) :

MTOW : Flaps 3, rotate at 170/175
MLW : Full flaps, landing at about 160/165

1/2 Fuel : Take-off Flaps 2 or 3 at 165/170
Landing Full flaps at ~ 160

1/3 Fuel : Take-off Flaps 2 at 160/165
Landing Full flaps at about 155

If somebody here has the official speeds, we'd like to have them ;)

Hi!

Some here in the PA forum have asked for a fitting soundset. I've found one ... Devyn Silverstein's Rolls Royce Trent 500 Soundset (V2), you can find it at avsim.com. I know they are Trent 500 engines but I've seen and heard the A380 in real, it's a good solution I am satified with it.

Project Opensky 747-8F got competition now! I just did a test from Heathrow to Paris De-Gualle. The aileron movements were amazing, acting individually. Also, this is what surprised me, unlike every other FS2004/FSX plane the wheels actually remain in position when under 0.6KIAS. The landing is also angled correctly, and the payload settings for people without FSPax is precise. I must say, this is the best plane I have ever flown. Project Opensky is building a 787, are you guys going to answer with the A340? If so, it would definetly beat Simubuild's A346/A345's. Thanks for the time you put into this wonderful aircraft!

More aopropiatley the a350, I think pa deserves a long break for a while before focusing on maybe doing the proposed a380-900
