Certain 777 sound packages come very close, otherwise there was a payware sound pack at one point but i can't comment on its accuracy. Don't remember who made it.

Synchro-Soft have a GP7200 sound set for the A380 i think you mean that payware ;)

After trying to understand the physics involved in the A380's ailerons in various videos, I am still lost for words. Does anyone know the equation for the three piece aileron workings?
Maybe I should have listened to the physics teacher better at school. :lol:

I think so. I have heard the sample for their CFM engines for the A320 family and it is very similar to what I remember from my last A320 flight in April.

The moving Ailerons are much like the wing tip of a bird, if you watch closely the A380 aielrons bahave in a very similar fashion ;). Probably the best example would be to watch a large eagles wingtip (ailerons) in motion and then compare them to the A380s, truely ramarkable and I love tha fact that Pa have modelled this and no payware plane (meaning A380) that I have seen yet has. NICE WORK!!!!

Keep it simple: the model will be native FS9, and should be compatible with FSX. Take PA's A32x and POSky's 777 as examples.

I must say that the FPS did increase using the PA A3xx series with FSX when I got my new PC with an i7 processor and a state-of-the-art ATI graphics controller. These PA model, effects and FDE chaps get their equations right in balancing the frame-rates and quality. Hats off to the team! :D :D

Thats a very nice system! Well its still decent on my E8400/8800GT KO/4gig DDR2 800 setup so they should be just fine on most similar specs and definitely better on the Core i setups

Im not nagging and I dont want this to sound anything like a complaint about there not being any fsx SDK model but I would just like to let you about my experiences with the FS9 SDK aircraft and the FSX SDK Aircraft and how the type of system wont make improvement. I have experienced extreamly bad FPS with the Posky 777 and therefore Got rid of it resorting back to the default 747. I decided to do a comparison between the two different models using both you FSX Airbus A319 and the FS9 Airbus A319, In the same location And both running the same texture pack... I experienced a frame rate hit of just under 10FPS. I have a quad core @ 2.4ghz , 8800GTX 768mb Card, Nvidia motherboard alongside a set of 3 GB Memory modules.

As compatable as they may be the different model types still effect my game experience in my view

No fix is planned for the simonground bug as of now. However, very few of us use fsx, and im not really familiar with that bug, though I think I have a general idea. Could you maybe describe it in detail for us?

Im not a modeller but I know as much as 'Thomas Ruth' Said in his "readme" files which he supplys with his A330 etc. It is a section in the model file which makes the ailerons and elevators droop while on the ground. However it is a problem if a group of people wish to fly togther or be in the same session in multiplayer in VA's or online ATC sessions; as it causes the whole of FSX to freeze and Fatel Error when you look at others on the ground in multiplayer. This is why Thomas Ruth Has included a Multiplayer model for his aircraft which do away with this 'query' so the ailerons and elevators stay in flight position and therefore does not Fatel Error you Flightsim Every time you look at them. I have noticed this problem with your A318, A319, And A320 FSX Models... And it would be a shame not to be able to fly these wonderfull models online and share experiences with others.

If SIM ON GROUND is the culprit, we'd have to fiddle with nearly all of our XML anims (including wingflex and parallel bogies), and I doubt anybody would be up for that.

Hey guys just two simple questions,

1. Will the A380 have the rudder turning when on ground? That is when taxiing and rotating the nosegear, will the rudder turn with it?
2. Is the A380 going to be updated progressively as time goes by after release?
