Moving on, part 5
Re: Moving on, part 5
Woah....wonderful news!
Just one question,
Are you going to be making this variant?
(I'm joking of course.)

Certain 777 sound packages come very close, otherwise there was a payware sound pack at one point but i can't comment on its accuracy. Don't remember who made it.

The new main page looks great. The model is just awesome, I can't wait to fly the A380!

Hello,
Very much glad to hear that the A-team is back in action. It has been said already, however your models are truely amazing, I'd want to say : the best ones out there. So THANK YOU for your work and effort!
Looking foward to see that big bird of yours.
Best regards,
A fellow supporter

After trying to understand the physics involved in the A380's ailerons in various videos, I am still lost for words. Does anyone know the equation for the three piece aileron workings?
Maybe I should have listened to the physics teacher better at school.

I think so. I have heard the sample for their CFM engines for the A320 family and it is very similar to what I remember from my last A320 flight in April.Jason9001 wrote:Synchro-Soft have a GP7200 sound set for the A380 i think you mean that paywareDerek Mayer wrote:Certain 777 sound packages come very close, otherwise there was a payware sound pack at one point but i can't comment on its accuracy. Re: Moving on, part 5
The moving Ailerons are much like the wing tip of a bird, if you watch closely the A380 aielrons bahave in a very similar fashion . Probably the best example would be to watch a large eagles wingtip (ailerons) in motion and then compare them to the A380s, truely ramarkable and I love tha fact that Pa have modelled this and no payware plane (meaning A380) that I have seen yet has. NICE WORK!!!!
Re: Moving on, part 5
the new site is just awsome! im so ready to fly the A380!
PA is the best! Ceep up the great work!

Thanks esg, the understanding has taken off. Re: Moving on, part 5
Now Im confused as to whether there will be an FSX Model Or not :S , I do see a massive increase in my FPS in fsx Model (+10) AtleastJason9001 wrote:I think you have rightPAIRBUSBEST wrote:it should be compatible just like their other modelsJason9001 wrote:What this bird looks so fantastic never seen it so fantastic
I'm really happy for you projects etc. and good to see 100% back really appricate you work
Hope we never will loose you PAirbus
A little bad thing is no FSX model
looks like you didn`t read enough
And i know but you know its nice with a FSX model sometimes you be a bit bored of downloading only FS2004 models :?
Re: Moving on, part 5
Keep it simple: the model will be native FS9, and should be compatible with FSX. Take PA's A32x and POSky's 777 as examples.

Re: Moving on, part 5
Nice to know both sets of (FS9/FSX) users will be able to enjoy this upcoming release!! Nice new front page too PA.
Re: Moving on, part 5
I must say that the FPS did increase using the PA A3xx series with FSX when I got my new PC with an i7 processor and a state-of-the-art ATI graphics controller. These PA model, effects and FDE chaps get their equations right in balancing the frame-rates and quality. Hats off to the team!

Thats a very nice system! Well its still decent on my E8400/8800GT KO/4gig DDR2 800 setup so they should be just fine on most similar specs and definitely better on the Core i setups

Re: Moving on, part 5
Im not nagging and I dont want this to sound anything like a complaint about there not being any fsx SDK model but I would just like to let you about my experiences with the FS9 SDK aircraft and the FSX SDK Aircraft and how the type of system wont make improvement. I have experienced extreamly bad FPS with the Posky 777 and therefore Got rid of it resorting back to the default 747. I decided to do a comparison between the two different models using both you FSX Airbus A319 and the FS9 Airbus A319, In the same location And both running the same texture pack... I experienced a frame rate hit of just under 10FPS. I have a quad core @ 2.4ghz , 8800GTX 768mb Card, Nvidia motherboard alongside a set of 3 GB Memory modules.
As compatable as they may be the different model types still effect my game experience in my view

be warned though... the posky 777 model IS heavy on frames anyway..

Hi! This isn't meant to be a demand or something like that. I'd just like to know how to understand this quote:
I assume that there will be a 2D panel as well. Am I right? Thanks!Alexis wrote: The virtual cockpit model will be released after the wingview model, once the panel is complete.
Re: Moving on, part 5
All things in time. The VC definitely needs some gauges to work, right?

Dear Project Airbus,
may I say that I'm very very glad that your talent is back in action. From the pictures you posted here I think this model will be setting standards for years to come. I do wish all of you good luck and all the best!

Agreed! Looks like it will set a new bar of realism for freeware!
Re: Moving on, part 5
Hey guys!
Model is looking GREAT! After seeing some of the newly released screenshots I want to ask whether or not the external model is now complete?
Just waiting for the release and some previews of the VC.
Take care,
Faris

When this comes out, I predict lots of a380 flyers on vatsim or FSX Multiplayer

just on the subject of multiplayer.... would there be a multiplayer model with no "Simonground" theory together with the FSX SDK model ?

Re: Moving on, part 5
No fix is planned for the simonground bug as of now. However, very few of us use fsx, and im not really familiar with that bug, though I think I have a general idea. Could you maybe describe it in detail for us?

Re: Moving on, part 5
Im not a modeller but I know as much as 'Thomas Ruth' Said in his "readme" files which he supplys with his A330 etc. It is a section in the model file which makes the ailerons and elevators droop while on the ground. However it is a problem if a group of people wish to fly togther or be in the same session in multiplayer in VA's or online ATC sessions; as it causes the whole of FSX to freeze and Fatel Error when you look at others on the ground in multiplayer. This is why Thomas Ruth Has included a Multiplayer model for his aircraft which do away with this 'query' so the ailerons and elevators stay in flight position and therefore does not Fatel Error you Flightsim Every time you look at them. I have noticed this problem with your A318, A319, And A320 FSX Models... And it would be a shame not to be able to fly these wonderfull models online and share experiences with others.
Thanks
Brett
Thanks
Brett
Re: Moving on, part 5
If SIM ON GROUND is the culprit, we'd have to fiddle with nearly all of our XML anims (including wingflex and parallel bogies), and I doubt anybody would be up for that.

Stefan, contact us via PM on these matters. Be sure to give us information on what you know, what tools you use, as well as any screenshots/renders/videos of models you have created.kikisp wrote:hello to all.i have just registered and just want to say thanks to all team that makes this lovely plane.

Hi guys,
just want to say that you guys are doing a great job. Learning that you are back to developing more A/C truly made my day. The level of detail that we are all seeing in the A380 project is truly, truly amazing! Long time user of your A319/320 models as well, really look forward to flying an Emirates A380...............any time frame?
Thanks guys, keep it up. You are an inspiration to us all.

Re: Moving on, part 5
Hey guys just two simple questions,
1. Will the A380 have the rudder turning when on ground? That is when taxiing and rotating the nosegear, will the rudder turn with it?
2. Is the A380 going to be updated progressively as time goes by after release?
Regards guys....

1 Rudder lock's being considered.. Derek is the guy to answer this question
2 Not likely, barring a severe issue that's undetected when in beta.. but that's not likely going by past releases
