There are current not more brazilian airports created in the FD_FMC. All related informations and manual to create an airport are included in the freenavdbgroup.com. Please post into this forum if you need further help.

Hello,

I the 1st december update, there was a missing updated airprot (SCCF) and AIRAC file inclided in the full airport database pack file was the previous version, and SCCF updated waypoints wasn't in the AIRAC file that can be download alone.

So, I have added SCCF airport update on the website, and updated AIRAC file with missing waypoints.

So, the last AIRAC file has the same name (FreenavAIRAC_12012018.BGL) but check that the file creation date is December 8th.

Sorry for the mistake

Hi Francois,

I've recently got back into flight simming and just had to get the excellent a320 mega pack- it works like a charm but I was just wondering how to change the callout voice upon descent? At the moment it is a robotic voice; I looked in the CALLOUT_FD folder and there are two sets of sound files, CA_2500FT etc. and just simply 2500FT.wav?

Hello guys,

Happy christmas to everybody. I prepared a new aircraft pack here : http://freenavdbgroup.com/download/Pack ... 202.0h.zip

This new pack include the Bjorn's fix about MCDU night texture by using 2 different gauges to VC and 2 versions.

I fixed some displaying bugs on the MCDU, fixed an error about SID constraint (thanks Wulf) and approach identification on the ND.

So, I also edited the VC location on A318/A319 and A321, to get it a the right place. There are now 3 MDL file according aircraft version, and I edited VIEWS and LIGHTS sections in aircraft.cfg file.

MCDU RTE page is not completed, because I haven't found yet a easy solution about how write this page code; sorry.....

Tell me if somthing is missed in the pack, because I would like to upload on AVSIM library this version.

I am not sure that TrafficRadar.dll works on my computer, because since it is included in the pack, I don't see any difference than before. If some one can tell me if this DLL gives a new TCAS displays.....or if someone can post a screenshot to show what I must get.....

Thank you very much

Francois

Hi, sorry if this is a silly question, but where can I find v2.0? I downloaded the mega pack that is currently on Rikooo. Many thanks

Francois´ updated a full A32x family panel pack v2.0h and this can be downloaded as described in his mail above.
This pack includes *ALL* necessary files e.g. A318/319/320/321 aircraft, improved VC, MCDU, sounds and one or two airline liveries for each aircraft model too.
Sorry, I´m not familiar with the Airbus pack content, downloadable from "Rikooo".

Rikoooo's pack is a very old version without FMC and airport database.

You can download the version 2.0 with the link in the post just above your last message.

You will have to install a XMLTools.dll (included in the pack with an installer) to allow FMC works.

And you will have to download and install the airport database with this link : http://freenavdbgroup.com/?page_id=136

There is written in Bjoern´s Trafficradar readme, see older fork version 2.0 under 5. Transponder/TCAS panel:
"......The "Above - Below" switch will filter the TCAS contacts on the ND, only displaying planes above (and slightly below) or below (and slightly above) the aircraft......"
Generally TCAS works fine on my PC, but unfortunately this switch is not moveable in the current A32x panel 2.0h VC and probably this might be the reason, that there is no difference in displayed TCAS alerts. Model hickup or panel related issue?

Neither there isn't the possibility to disable the alert. Several times happened to me to continuosly listen the "traffic" alert during parallel ILS approach (due to a close landing aircraft )

Above/Below filtering worked when I released the TCAS capable cockpit and ND.

If I haven't already done so: I won't develop this project any further since I've lost my motivation a long time ago, switched to X-Plane 11 and my 3ds Max license expired.

If anybody thinks he/she is able do dig into them and make something off them, the latest source files are up for grabs under three conditions:
1) No dumb questions about them, i.e. if you can't handle 3ds Max and XML, stay away.
2) Credit must be given to all previous authors and contributors.
3) The result must remain freeware.

Hello guys,
I am new here and first of all I want to say THANK YOU!!! This project is wonderful. Great aircraft und you made it awesome.

I fly nearby only with that one. I am flying this in FSX-SE and it works fantastic. Will there be a sharklet model with this new features?

Thanks, good work!

http://freenavdbgroup.com/

I lost so my motivation; I need to work on another project to retrieve it (I have began to work on Posky b747 to adapt FD_FMC with boeing logic and a new HD gauges (PFD/MFD) and Alejandro Rojas VC that I am improving and fixing) . So, I would like to prepare the final complete A32x aircraft pack, with last bugs fixed.

So, I nedd help, because many work to do (update aircraft manual) and I haven't information about aircraft installation (and working) with P3D v4.

Is someone has installed and tested this aircraft with P3D V4 ?
I know that there is a P3Dv4 version of XMLTools, but working ? And about gauge sound ? A32x_Sounds.gau works with P3Dv4 or the Doug Dawson 64b gauge must be used (dsd_p3d_xml_sound.dll) ?

Please post here your feedback and p3dv4 installtion tips....

Thanks

Francois

Me too. It's the only thing I use to fly. It's a very well executed project, indeed.

I think that you have to edit all the "VCRain************.bmp" files, located in \PA A32x_Common\A32x_MainPanel\" folder, to get that.

This bjoern that realized this part.

I uploaded an update of panel which fix some minor bugs (approach type readings on the ND, error with callout during non-ILS approach.....).

New :
- in RTE and LEG page, you can now delete a waypoint of the flight plan by clicking on the left buttons in front each waypoint.
note : You cannot delete a SID/STAR/Approach waypoint; Only En Route waypoint in case of you have loaded a flight plan that is not a Direct ICAO to ICAO.

- RTE page display now always flight plan from the first waypoint, and you can scroll with arrows (click or wheel mouse)
- LEG page display flight plan from where you are (previous waypoint are not show)

- Now, in RTE page, you can change anytime the active waypoint in the flight plan by use the right buttons in front each waypoint name. Active waypoint is displayed in magenta color. This function can be use after a take off with a SIDs that are ATC directed (generaly first waypoint is a VOR). These SIDs have no automatic horizontal navigation activation, and according your takeoff runway, maybe you will have to jump the first waypoint.

This update includes "PA A32x_Common" folder except engines sound, cockpit model files;

http://freenavdbgroup.com/download/Pane ... Common.zip

I am preparing the final aircraft pack, but requires many work so let me 2 or 3 weeks to complete manuals

Good evening,

I am trying to enter a "new" waypoint into the FMC on the FD-FMC Airbus A330. No matter which waypoint or co-ordinates I enter, the FMC goes to exactly the same point on the map.

I have tried to follow the manual. Is there a better explanation on how to do this please?

HI, I can't get the " # " button to work in the FMC. It doesn't let me push it. Others seem to work fine. Nice job btw. Is there any solution? Thanks. I'm using that 2.0 version that had a download link on this page and also downloaded and installed the updated common files from this page.

The " # " button works in the 2D FMC, if you select in the FMC menu "DEPART" or "ARRIVAL" at first. This button activates the numeric keys only to enter a new WP in the flight plan. More informations and usage, see here in the manual, chapter 6.2.

Hey, thanks for quick reply. It seems to work now when I select the "DEPART" or "ARRIVAL" first. I was probably previously in the "F-PLAN" and that's why it didn't work.

Another thing that the "Virtual cockpit day light" (2D overhead panel Recog light switch) doesn't seem to do anything for me when switching it ON/OFF or the panel brightness switch on the left in VC during day time. Are they supposed to brighten the screens in VC (the same way as e.g. in Tom Ruth's A330 VC) as I found the screens a bit too dark during dusk before the VC night lighting goes on. Switching the Dome light to completely bright helps but it lightens up to whole cockpit which isn't too nice. I had also apparently set the screen brightness to full (100pct) from the knobs on the sides of the VC. And, I'm very grateful for all you people that have made this absolutely fantastic state-of-the-art freeware available for us flight simmers :)

VC brightness at day: The dome lights are used to additionally illuminate the whole VC. If you feel they are too bright, then you may change manually the location from the corresponding dome light in the Aircraft.cfg. in the section [LIGHTS], where you can vary the light point x-coordinates =A/C long. axis.
Example: A320 current dome light definition in the line: light.7=10, 47.25, -1.00, 2.90, fx_vclight
If the dome light is too bright, then move back the light point from 47.25 to e.g. 44.00 and test.

You may also try to vary the z-coordinate =A/C vert. axis, current value 2.90, to improve the illumination for your purposes....and taste.

Please do not forget to make a security backup copy from the aircraft.cfg at first.

Please let us know your preferred light coordinates in the case you want to change. Others might be interested too.

In the PA A320FD-FMC_CFM_2.0 I changed the Dome light position in the aircraft.cfg under [LIGHTS] to light.7=10, 46.65, -0.85, 0.35, fx_vclight. (Original light.7=10, 47.25, -1.00, 2.90, fx_vclight). Makes it less bright which suits better for my purposes as I never really need it to be any brighter than that and can still read the displays clearly without the whole cockpit being illuminated. I noticed sometimes a strange flickering of either the dome light in the cockpit or the landing lights outside, which were caused by the beacon light, but it went quickly away when switching ON/OFF the dome/land/beacon lights in random order. The flickering wasn't related to the mentioned change of the dome light position though.

Is there even a possibility to manually arm the spoilers as I haven't found a way to do so or do they always arm automatically during take off and landing (I did read the manual)? Just bothers me too see that blue "ARM" in the ECAM Memo before take off. And also, is the Master Caution supposed to be constantly ON or am I missing something? If these questions have been already answered somewhere in this thread then pardon me for not reading all the 65 pages ;)

My response refer to A32x panel version 2.0j, sim FSX.
- VC Flickering after switch on beacon lights: Known issue, but still unsolved. Workaround: Switch on the Ovhd Integ LT at last.
- Manually arm spoilers in the VC: Move the speed brake lever arm with the mouse. BTW the armed spoiler is coded to automatically fully engage after T/O abort.
- Blue "ARM" in the ECAM Memo before T/O: I can´t see this indication. Please provide a pic.
- Master Caution: To be unswitched manually.

Hello guys,

currently very busy, so I have some delay to update airport database and to complete aircraft pack (manual update takes many time).

I try to update airport today.

@Zocke : currently, ground spoilers are automatically armed (when set flaps in take off or landing configuration). I agree that is unrealistic, but I haven't coded the real function because on Airbus, this is by pull the spoilers lever that you arm system and current Virtual cockpit has no lever vertical animation to simulate this feature.

I could create the function by a right click on the lever, but there would be no visual validation by raising the lever.....

The FMS should be activated after switching on the electric and ADIRS activitaion.
Cold start: Go to the overhead panel and BAT switch on, APU START swich on, APU/GEN switch on, DISPLAY SYS switch on for ADIRS activation, push FMS INIT.

Current panel version is 2.0i, displayed on the top of the original MCDU menu page, use keyboard command "/".

Hi, when the aircraft is completely shut down cold&dark (every airbus), I continue to hear a turbine sound in outside view. Even if I hit Q key on/off. Is it a sound that comes with mdl file or is it in sound folders? How could I remove it? Thanks

This update includes "PA A32x_Common" folder except engines sound, cockpit model files;

http://freenavdbgroup.com/download/Pane ... Common.zip

I am preparing the final aircraft pack, but requires many work so let me 2 or 3 weeks to complete manuals

Hi François, I found that after the first STAR waypoint the leg page doesn't display STAR waypoints anymore. Is it intended? RTE page works fine.
Thanks

Hello guys,

I am really sorry for these long months without time to work on the project. Now, I am less busy, so I start to work again to publish as quick as possible the full aircraft pack on AVSIM library.

So, I fixed some minors bugs in the panel and you can donwload a small update of the A32x_FD-FMC folder (to replace the existing in your A32x_Common folder).

Link to download : http://freenavdbgroup.com/download/Pane ... FD-FMC.zip
- fix the red warning readings in the old FD-FMC gauge about ECON speed or FL selection
- fix some minor bugs in the EXPEDITE mode
- fix some minor bugs in the new FMC gauge

So, I think that I have a problem on my computer with TrafficRadar that doesn't work. Maybe I have forgot to do something.....but not effect on my TCAS....
I have the TrafficRadar.dll line in my FSX.cfg, so the file is correctly installed. But mayb another action to do ...... ? Does it require a special XML file to work ? Have you a declaration about this file in your PANEL.cfg ? Maybe I have a missing file ?...
