Texture or effect error

I'm using FSX and on the A319, all paints that I tested this with, there is not only a missing sat link antenna texture, but the engine smoke is black. Any ideas?

I couldn't find a topic that solved this issue

I'm sure you'll find several topics about the antenna-problem. ;D
But the smoke is an effects-problem.
As far as I know, you can simply turn it off with 'W', by default.

You need to use the FSX model. The FS2004 model when used in FSX causes black engine jet heat and "holes" in the fuselage where the antenna should be. You can find the models on AVSIM and Flightsim.com and just simply replace the model in the aircraft folder.
