Aircrafts not loading

Ladies and Gents,

You have heard it before and Google has given me many views on this, but I have an unsolved problem.
All 3rd party aircrafts I load don't come up in my FSX.

I know the drill of installing aircraft (41 y/o and flying since FS95) but left FS about a year ago (which was on a FSX on XP Pro machine all working fine)
Now I have a Win7 Ult x64 and installed FSX again to pick up the fun, but no 3rd party aircrafts will load.
I tried quite a few from 'trustworthy' sources like Posky and Project Airbus (A320 to be exact).
Done exactly what the packages said (different files in different folders), but nothing appears in the aircraft list in the program.
It is almost like I have to click somewhere "3rd party add-ons allowed", but cant remember there is any.
I am more than welcome to send screenshots of folders and files if needed, or is this a common problem.
FSX is working fine, and was installed with Admin rights (just in case someone mentions)
Any clues?? As I am waiting to try out the Airbus! (must be better than stock!)

So all these worked on your XP but not your W7? You didn't change anything. Also can you show me a aircraft.cfg of the PA320?

When I started FSX with several addons under XP 32, it was working. Then I switched to 7 32, the addons do appear without issues. This is weird, I will search into it.

There is a file call AIR that not show in the PA320FD_CFM aircraft file. Has to be iqual as the name on CFG file (pa320-cfm56-2)

I just deleted Adobe Air, re-booted, but still no luck.
Although Flightsimmer states his work with Adobe Air installed, I will re-install the aircraft and see if this makes any difference.
If it works I will let you know (as I have no faith it will lol)

very true on the last one. In the screenshot it looks like a Adobe Air installer package.
Now I have deleted Adobe Air (unnecessary, but hey), the file comes up as a normal air file and not the package icon.
I have tried since last night but still no joy.

If the file AIR comes up as a nomal air file, another possibility is the file PANEL like GaryG point.
For the correct load of the aircraft the PANEL has to be like this:
alias=Airbus_A321/panel
or:
another panel from another aircraft from FSX
or:
another panel that work on FSX

I am the author of this special version, and you are the first that report to me an install problem.

Have you install all the folders and files come with the aircraft ? :

- The "CALLOUT_SOUND.dll" file in the fsx gauge folder
- the "CALLOUT_1" folder in the fsx sound folder.

After to have installed the aircraft, when you run fsx, FSX must ask to you to accept the "callout_sound.dll" like a confidence file. If you havn't this message, you installation is not correct.
