I know that the readme's included don't expect support for FSX but your aircraft just looks and seems to stunning to ignore! Most incredibly is the fact that you've included the three slotted ailerons of which I've yet to see on any Payware A380! So Fantastic job and thank you for your generosity for contributing this elegant piece of art to the FS community. Now down to business. Just two questions, on the Cabin model in FSX for some reason the cabin windows are not transparent but rather completely white. Secondly for some reasons part's of the aircraft turn silver and the textures are lost. This is most frequent in the wings but eventually does spread to 90% of the aircraft.
If anyone chooses to help I really appreciate it. Either way going to go fly the plane...it's become a rather addictive model lol
I wrote:The problem came from the alpha channel in glass_cabin.bmp. I fixed it very easily... But many other people don't know how to do this :?
So, here is the fix for people who fly in fsx : http://www.filefactory.com/file/b25g103 ... _cabin.bmp
For the textures, I haven't this issue... But i think it comes from texture files' alpha channel
Is the aircraft shining like chrome ?
And did you make some texture editing ? The problem could come from this
The model was made with the FS9 compiler, so you should get "chrome" surfaces in FSX. We couldn't guarantee that it'd work perfectly in FSX, but I'll have a look and see if it can be fixed using the alpha channels.
