Promoting one of the oldest airports in the world

Post by tomthecat73 »

Needs still minor changes (reducing the dirt a little bit, adjust the grey of engines and belly, make the upper antenna white), but will be uploaded within a few hours. Its a request - so I upload it now. Will be updated when model 2.1 is out.

Looking good!! The door config on the left doesn't match the one on the right though..

The other the wing exits need to be larger..

LH also use a different 'hub' on their main wheel

also, the bottom of the inside winglet is grey, top half is white.

Curious.. what photo did you use for the logo?

i found one good in airliners.net. (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Lufthans ... 3e68028ade)
The rest i did in Illustrator.

Doors are already fixed
Wingtips fixed
What do you mean with "hub" on the main wheel? - Not already dark? That's fixed too
Arrows on the wings are also fixed - but i flew LH A319 last week and the markings was black - not red.
Also fixed: the "grey" outline at the front windows.

Will be uploaded soon. We had a few hot, hot, hot summerdays and I decided to chill out in the park with dog and friends - rather than painting :-)

The main wheel, doesn't use the spoked version.. it's slightly different. If you've got my LH A321 you'll see what I mean :)

Lufthansa's A320's have brake fans, which is why the hubcap's more bulbous

Thanks John. I will publish it this evening.
Status so far:
- I am looking for a good detailed photo of a LH main wheel and use this.
- reduced the dirt a little bit - was too much!
- Doors fixed.
- Wings completelly reworked - they are 100% LH now.
- Wingtips reworked. Thanks for the advice John.
- Main gear door has the red warning stripe now :-)
- Antennas correct now. the upper in white - at the belly in red!
- Engines reworked - slightly darker and the characteristic "blue" fade in the grey. added a little bit more shadow at the engines too.

Some people think a LH paint is one of the easiest - but the reallity is: With LH most people make a lot of errors.

BUT AT THE MOMENT I BECOME CRAZY WITH MY VUELING REPAINT :-)))) The stupid dots at the aft... I believe i loaded this plane 40-50 times and I am still not satisfied...
