Hey guys, no screen shot tonight but the past couple of hours i have been working on the Virgin Atlantic Paint for PA A380.
Yes i know it's ''FAKE'' but this Aircraft is set to deliver in 2013 so i was hopeing to repaint before on a awesome model!

Key Feautures:

-New Virgin Logo
-New Lady Logo
-New Name (TBA)
-New REG (Not Real But For FS)
-Birtish Flag for Winglets
-All White Wing
-RR + EA Textures


Screenshots will be by Tonite (Sunday 4th July 2010)
My First Repaint So Dont Get To Hyped But So Far So Good And Crisp!

Hehe yes tom i know but i have been busy today with my filming etc if you follow me on youtube.
My Computer mucked up last night so i switched to my macbook pro and i will upload to previews today, need to go over LHR and do my timeplase video 1.

I believe, that the first virgn A380 already has the reg & name booked, as G-VXXL "Virgin Lady".

Here is some work that i have done but if they have named and reged the 1 one already i shall change it now..

NC but im just trying to figure out how i'm going to do the tail as this is my first ever repaint =/

Does any1 no how to get it HQ on MSFS?

I save the final one in photoshop as BMP then i do that converter into 32bit and blury still on fs ?

i think u have to use DXTBMP and select the option on the right side that removes the mipmaps from your textures. oh and make sure u have AntiAliasing on in FS.

Save as psd, open with ImageTool, save as bmp

Done all Engines and right side now i'm so confused how to tern the model around faceing the other way to repaint the other side?
Also i have no ideia how to do the tail..

I'm not sure if this is how its meant to be done but I do the following:

- Disable all right side layers
- Enable all left side layers
- Use Image -> Image Rotation -> Flip Canvas Horizontal
- Use Edit -> Transform -> Flip Horizontal for any text/image layers that are back to front

Though I've probably got this in the wrong order as I am unsure whether the left side layers are already the right side up or whether they can be flipped with the canvas as I have done

But now i need to get rid of the cargo doors =/

Hey some work in progress but textures still abit blurey.

Engine 1 & 4 need re doing.. Winglets + Tail to come which i both need help with..

I made two different textures, one for left side and one for right side :lol: Did you uncheck the mip map box?

Just need to get it in HQ like the ones PA Made!
