Yep, these models are amazing. Everything looks right (e.g. the beacon and antenna positions). Also the textures are amazing and the enormous attention to detail on the pylons and engines is phenomenal. Now someone has to throw a Lufthansa and Etihad paint on the A333 and I'm ready to go. :)

I've never waited eagerly on a freeware aircraft than on a payware one.

And there was much rejoicing. My prayers have been heard!

Is Tom still around to possibly get some paints on this? If so, then I'd love to see what he comes up with.

Hey guys,

Any update on the A330/A340? The dedicated thread seems to be locked. Apologies for hijacking this thread, but cannot seem to start a new one.

Havent posted in ages on this forum  yeah this A330/340 thing goes back a long while ago.

Its strange, there have always been top quality (both free ware and payware) Boeing models such as the 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787. And PA did awesome with the A32X models, as well as Aerosoft with their advanced payware Airbus series. We cant really speak about the Overland or Wilco models *buggy* :/ .

But apart from the very old Project Opensky A330/340 models, the A330 is virtually untouched for some odd reason. I heard Aerosoft was gonna attempt it but I havent been up to date with anything related to flight sim, I dont even touch the sim anymore these days with the whole college and work routine.

Just wondering... I haven't been here for almost a year and I decided to take a look for updates. ( I thought there will be a few, but I was wrong...) Is this project on hold or in development?

I love flying the new A321/20/19SL but I Can't wait to fly the A330. Are there any other pics or videos of development within the last couple of months? Keep up the great work.

You want some news of the A330 project : It flies :)

Here some videos of the A330-300 model, controlled by my baby FMC. This is the begining of my work on the FMC code to control the A330, so there are still many improvement to do. I must work hard to a better pitch control.

But you can see the bird (set in 1080p full screen) and sorry, this is my first test with a Track IR  :

First video : Startup engines and systems initialisation :
PA 330-300 beta test FD-FMC HD video

Second video : Take-off and inital climb in THR CLB mode. Pitch control is not perfect....:
PA 330-300 beta test FD-FMC HD video Part 2 : Take-off and initial climb

Noe : This is not the definitive VC; this is a adaptation of the A321 VC

To be continued

That looks so awesome! I registered just to say haha.

I hardly touch my POSKY A330 package now that I'm anticipating PAs so much, stick to flying your A320 and A321.

Awesome!

I thought PA330 and A340 has its own VC? I saw it in the first page of this thread and i think i also saw it at the 5th page...
If so, why didnt you used it? I mean that since you didn't used it, i assumed the VC is trashed?

I may be a bit more interested in the Panel than the model! Both look great anyhow. Will it be available for FSX and FS9?
